Learning To Let It Go with Sasha Lorusso-Zyskind (SOLILOQUY) - INTENTION

Today I am blessed to be in the presence of Sasha Lorusso-Zyskind. You may know him as Soliloquy, a multifaceted, multi passionate, old soul that speaks his wisdom through his musical gifts in rapping and production. A graphic designer, a spiritual teacher you didnt know you needed and an all round great guy that is going through the process of letting go of old stories and narratives that we all hold onto, leaning into a new version of himself that I'm grateful to unpack with you all.

This episode truly has so much wisdom and truth intertwined and I recommend it best digested on a long drive or while doing something you love. I remember saying to Sasha that I am trying to keep my episodes to an hour and of course this one just was not going to fit in that restriction, as it was never meant to.

We discuss Sasha's new unrealised album that I had the pleasure of listening to and the intricacies that came about through writing it over the past few years. A true piece of poetry, I am honoured to get a sneak peak into an album that I know you're all going to love. We open up about the struggle of vulnerability, sharing your truth and the fears that come along the way.

Sasha truly has so much wisdom to share and I am so excited for you all to experience his knowledge just as much as I did.

WHAT WE COVERED IN THIS EP:

- Being a successful rapper at a young age and the effects of that on his journey.
- The process of death and rebirth and where Sasha is within that process.
- Sasha's connection to spirituality and how that impacts his work and everyday life.
- The poetry and venerability in his new album
- How letting go of your old self can be a challenging yet caiartict process.
- Tools on how to access your potential.
- How Sasha's early childhood trauma effected his music and lyricism.
- What Sasha's childhood looked like and how he connects with that space now.
- How to become less judgement of yourself and step into your truth.
